The Group of gothic guys from T5 :)

"Karma Police"

As promised, today's post would be the Gothic Night last friday and also the finals for History Seminar.

Goth Night, as mentioned time and time again was indeed a blast. Watching Poe's "Fall of the house of Usher" was rather interesting. The difference in technology was indeed obvious. Sound effects were really weird at times too.

But what made the whole night memorable was the active participation of the class; initiated by Liang and Jon. Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde, Constantine, Corpse Bride, Grim Reaper etc etc were just some of the many creepy characters showcased by T5 :)

Needless to say, the win for both the 1st runner up and the overall 1st prize for the class was really something I'll constantly reminisce and recall with a smile. A great class effort that saw an even greater reward. Our next activity would be this friday's captain ball challenge. It should be really cool. :O

Next up was the finals for the annual History Seminar Competition held at NUS Lt11. NJ and AC's performance were really good; coming in 1st and 2nd runner up respectively. Emerging overall champions felt overly cool but it was certainly a very remarkable team effort. The teachers, the crew, the scripwriters, the IT ppl and the actors. No doubt about it.

I like the way Charlene puts it. Rehearsing together, researching together and spending many days after school training and stuff really made the bunch of history seminar mates almost like family.

Marcus, Liang, Siti, Taq, Zehra, Charlene, Jessie, Amanda, Amanda, Priyanca, Goldie, Ann-Maire

It has been a great experience. And the fact that most of the Hist Sem ppl came from T5 made it a "Double Whammy" for the class.

I completely agree with Liang when he says that it has been indeed a great month. The result was nothing more than I can ask for. All I can say is that next year's batch of Hist Sem participants would be having alot of pressure to keep up the standard. We had the same kind of motivation this year too. But it really paid off. So once again, cheers guys, it has been really a pleasure.

Double Whammy for the win :)*
