"Better Days"
I'll always remember how we formed a circle, quietened our spirits and prayed. For that particular moment, nothing else really mattered. What struck me was the way we prayed.
It did not matter whether we were Catholics, Lutherans, Protestants or Methodists. What mattered was how we prayed together. How we prayed as Christians. As one.
Truly, the Lord's presence was strongly felt that day in the Shooting Range.
It was a remarkable moment in my National Service. A scene of unity. A sign of Peace. Somehow, the following Bible passage makes even greater sense and meaning to me -
"For when two or three are gathered together unto my name, there am I in the midst of them" - Matthew 18:20*
